Porto midfielder Fabio Vieira’s performance has caught the attention of the European Sharks, with the player set to travel to Arsenal in exchange for 35 million euros.
Porto: The Dragons have yet to formally seal a deal, but the Under-21 international has even interrupted his holiday in Mykonos, Greece, to travel to London to work out the final details of a move to Arsenal. The deal was an immediate €35m gain for the Blues and Whites, but €40 could be reached by achieving some sporting goals. Fábio Vieira, who has only represented Porto in his career, will sign a contract for the next five years until 2027 after joining the sevens in 2008/09 , to strengthen Mikel Arteta’s side, which was fifth in the Premier League at the time in its final year and will therefore be in the Europa League for the 2022/23 season.
sports: With the Lions and Fulham agreeing to move forward, the deal will only have to wait for midfielder Joao Palinha to agree to a move to Marco Silva’s side. The 26-year-old Portugal international has been linked with Sporting until 2024.
Benfica: Spanish media say the Eagles have found a replacement for Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunes, who sold to Liverpool for 75 million euros. Almería striker Omar Sadiq, 25, who was signed by the Andalusian club to replace the ex-Benfica player, will be targeted, but a €60m release clause could be an obstacle to a deal.
Braga: The British press went on to say that 22-year-old Portuguese defender David Carmo is on United’s radar if English clubs fail to sign Julian Timber from Ajax, even in this closed season.
Famalicon: Left-back Dolcek, 22, who was loaned to Miño from Croatia’s Hadjuk Split in the winter market, has returned to his former club. The player played nine games for Famalek, scoring one goal.
Sink House: The emblem of Pina Manik has announced a contract extension with Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder Nermin Zolotic until 2023. This season, the 28-year-old centre-back has scored 1 goal in 36 appearances.
Juventus: Italy international Mattia Desirio, whose contract has expired, has extended his contract with Juventus until June 2025. Desirio, 29, has been with Juventus since the 2017/18 season, although in 2020/21 he completed a one-year French loan spell at Lyon. Last season, the Italian side made more appearances for Torino than ever before, playing a total of 29 games, 20 of which were in Serie A.
Lille: The football market is not just about transferring players. France have confirmed the departure of coach Jocelyn Gurvenek as they sit 10th in the league after a season in which they failed to qualify for European competition. Gulvineck, 50, arrived at Lille at the start of last season to replace Christopher Galtier, who led the club to the title in 2020/21, even in the French Super Cup victory over Paris Saint-Germain (1-0). The game got off to a good start.
Olympiacos: French midfielder Mathieu Valbuena, 37, has signed a one-season extension to his side led by Portuguese Pedro Martins.
Penafil: Duros has hired Portuguese center Joao Miguel, who played in Romania, on a two-season contract until June 2024. “Joao Miguel, former FC Arges 1953 defender, signs a two-season contract with FC Penafiel”, can be read on the social network of the Douro logo. The 28-year-old defender from Maito, who returned to Portugal after a season at Algeria, finished fifth in the Romanian top flight, scoring one goal in 29 appearances.
